CLASSES IV & V: WORKSHOP ON POSITIVE BEHAVIOUR AND LIFE SKILLS
Dates: 07 & 08 July 2026

A Positive Behaviour and Life Skills workshop was organised by the Counselling Cell for the students of Classes IV & V on 07 & 08 July 2026 respectively in the school auditorium.

The aim of the workshop was to encourage responsible, respectful and empathetic behaviour in school. The interactive session aimed to help students understand how their actions and choices contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

The workshop covered important topics including responsibility, teamwork, classroom conduct, respect, empathy, personal space, accepting and respecting others for who they are, and the difference between joking and bullying. Through a PowerPoint presentation, discussions, and relatable scenarios, students explored these concepts and learned how to apply them in their daily school life. Special emphasis was placed on understanding that a joke is meant to make everyone laugh and feel included, whereas bullying is intentional, repeated behaviour that hurts, excludes, or upsets others. Students were encouraged to reflect on how their words and actions can impact others and to make thoughtful, kind choices in their daily interactions.

To make the session interactive and enjoyable, an engaging quiz was conducted at the end of the workshop. Students enthusiastically participated by answering scenario-based questions, identifying positive behaviours, and sharing thoughtful responses. The quiz reinforced the concepts covered during the session while encouraging active participation and teamwork.

The workshop concluded with a brief recap of the key takeaways and students committing to practise these positive behaviours in their everyday interactions.

CHILD SAFETY AWARENESS TRAINING AT N. K. BAGRODIA PUBLIC SCHOOL
Day/Date: Friday, 10 July 2026

About the Session N.K. Bagrodia Public School conducted a mandatory "Child Safety Awareness Training" workshop aimed at educating staff and stakeholders on student protection. Centered around the theme "Safe Today, Strong Tomorrow," the session focused heavily on the legal and moral obligations outlined under the POCSO Act, 2012 (The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act). The training emphasised that safeguarding children from abuse and exploitation requires collective vigilance, proactive communication, and a strictly enforced zero-tolerance policy.

Resource Persons : Mr. Rajneesh, EVGC & Ms. Anju Nodal Officer, SWB1

Focus: Audit Preparedness, Safety Protocols, and Compliance

Audit Compliance: Strict checklist adherence is mandatory; physical reality must perfectly match documentation.

Inspection Schedule: Official assessments commence around July 13, conducted by six deployed teams.

Transport Safety: Secure parental undertakings for private commuters to be obtained by school.

Staff Vigilance: Train all staff to actively identify and monitor student safety red flags.

External Abuse Protocols: Mandatory immediate reporting to police for out-of-school family abuse cases.

Statement Documentation: Strictly prohibit taking a child's signature on any official statement or record.

Conclusion:

The workshop concluded with the understanding that child safety is an ongoing commitment rather than a one-time checklist. By aligning with the legal frameworks of the POCSO Act and maintaining an open, trusted network of communication, the school community reinforces its protective shield around every student.

DPS Dwarka is fully compliant with guidelines shared by the resource team during the Child Safety Awareness Training held today.
